The Right Time

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time. Isaiah 60:22

The Israelites would suffer. Isaiah saw this. God allowed him to see the trials and sadness they would endure.

However, He also allowed Isaiah to see their coming triumph. While deep in the despair they would experience, a comfort could be found in knowing that restoration was coming.
These precious children of God would see His light once more as they became once again a strong, great nation worthy to be His. This restoration, however, would be on God's time, not theirs.

Have you ever found yourself deep in a tumultuous situation where you weren't even sure if you would see the light of day again?  A situation so dark and full of despair that brought multitudes of hopelessness with it. I have. It's not a fun place to be.

We are His children, too. Just as the Israelites found restoration from their bondage and despair, we can find ours. Just as they had to wait for God's time, we must wait.

No fun, is it?

Waiting brings patience and patience brings a sense of knowing God's timing is perfect. God wanted Israel to be a great nation, but first they needed to learn a few things. Similarly, God wants us to be great Christians that can share His love with those around us. So, if you are waiting through a dark time, just ask God, what things can I learn while I'm waiting?

It's the valley's that make us a stronger Christian for his service. We can also help a brother or sister because we've been there and encourage them to keep walking. Gods got this and there is a reason for it. We just have to believe and trust him!
